Member Benefits

The Madison Area Builders Association offers multiple membership types for companies in the building industry. Companies who are located in Columbia, Dane, Iowa, Marquette, and Sauk county are eligible for membership. Membership types include Builder Membership, Associate Membership, and Affiliate Membership, to learn which membership type your company falls under, check out the membership application.

Association memberships are by company and all employees of member companies have access to Association membership benefits.

Three memberships, one annual dues payment! Wisconsin Builders Association membership and National Association of Home Builders membership are included with your annual MABA membership. All Association members have access to a variety of resources on a local, state, and national level.

MABA advocates for the building industry across Dane, Columbia, Sauk, Marquette, and Iowa counties as well as on a state and national level. The Association closely monitors legal, regulatory, and political matters that may impact the housing industry and works to support and inform the membership base of upcoming initiatives and changes in a timely manner.

Join a membership base of over 400 member companies. Network with industry professionals at monthly member-exclusive events. Events include happy hours, educational sessions, golf outings, clay shoots, auctions, and more at a variety of locations across the area.

The Association is committed to closing the skilled trades workforce gap. The Association is partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County to open the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center, a state of the art facility dedicated to educating area youth about careers in the skilled trades. As a membership benefit for current dwelling contractors, the Wisconsin Builders Foundation offers online continuing education (CEU) credits through its partnership with Slipstream and the B4 Conference. These courses are designed to fulfill Wisconsin's continuing education requirements for dwelling contractors (12 credit hours every two years), and are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS). MABA is providing another benefit through the WBA partnership. The WBA shares an alliance Small Business Growth Partners, which helps small businesses owners in construction and building trade industries develop highly profitable, quality business models without sacrificing their personal lives. Members can receive complimentary business assessment services every year.
